Centro Social e Paroquial Santos Mártires
The Social Martyrs Parish Centre is a private institution of social solidarity (IPSS) with various social responses (childhood, youth, elderly and disabled), located in Bragança in northeastern Montes.
We are integrated in a union of social centers, established for about 3 years, at the initiative of the Diocese of Bragança, non-profit whose mission is to contribute to the integral development of citizens, coordinating services and resources in a spirit of social and human solidarity.

space, in operation for only a year, has three aspects: residential home, autonomous residences and center of occupational activities, aimed at promoting psychosocial well-being (quality of life, free time occupation, rehabilitation etc.). Our organization is endowed with a young staff, specialized in different scientific fields: nursing, clinical psychology, social and cultural activities, social education, physical therapy, motor skills, art therapy.The center of occupational activity has a swimming pool for the practice of hydrotherapy, water aerobics and aquatic rehabilitation. It also has a fully equipped fisioteratia room, music therapy room, sensory stimulation room with snoezelen equipment, through which are carried out daily specific activities that guarantee a special intervention and appropriate to the population.
